Handmade glass beads from the African tribes of Krobo and Ashanti are famous for their glass making.

Collecting scrap or unuseable glass, it is then ground into a powder form and poured into clay moulds, to form the unique shapes of these beads. Every bead is different and makes for a unique piece.
